Text of the Holy Sura Hujurat
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ
ِ یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا لَا تُقَدِّمُوا بَیْنَ یَدَیِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمٌ {1}
[49:1] O you who believe! be not forward in the presence of Allah and His Messenger, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَکُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِیِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا لَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ کَجَهْرِ بَعْضِکُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالُکُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ {2}
[49:2] O you who believe! do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, and do not speak loud to him as you speak loud to one another, lest your deeds became null while you do not perceive.
إِنَّ الَّذِینَ یَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَاتَهُمْ عِندَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُوْلَئِکَ الَّذِینَ امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَی لَهُم مَّغْفِرَهٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِیمٌ {3}
[49:3] Surely those who lower their voices before Allah's Messenger are they whose hearts Allah has proved for guarding (against evil); they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.
إِنَّ الَّذِینَ یُنَادُونَکَ مِن وَرَاء الْحُجُرَاتِ أَکْثَرُهُمْ لَا یَعْقِلُونَ {4}
[49:4] (As for) those who call out to you from behind the private chambers, surely most of them do not understand.
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا حَتَّی تَخْرُجَ إِلَیْهِمْ لَکَانَ خَیْرًا لَّهُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِیمٌ {5}
